He is a veteran of the United States Army. He matriculated at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned two Master's Degrees in Finance and Psychology. In 2017, Dr. Jackson joined the 2% of the United States population by earning his Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Walden University.
In 2014, G. Wayne put to paper what was inside his heart as a way to cope with the loss of a relationship. The result of that work was his freshman fiction work Forced Out of the Darkness.
G. Wayne is an avid sports fan, lover of the music and arts, and above all a family man. He wears multiple hats, Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Friend, Confidant, and Minister. G. Wayne resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and is continuing to live his destiny. He thrives on acquiring knowledge, developing his spiritual gifts and leaving a positive lasting impression in his community.
The writing process proved to be cathartic and helped G. Wayne gain his footing again. After a well received freshman effort, he continued the story of Monti Burroughs and Cameron McNeil creating his sophomore project The Breaking of Day. G. Wayne skillfully weaves real life experiences into his fictional work to address topics such as mental health, infidelity, the Black church and the stigma of being Gay/Bisexual in the Black community. In G. Wayne's work, you will relate to the characters and see bits and pieces of yourself and others.
G. Wayne is working on his junior project of the Forced series and a relationship self-help project. He is open to pursuing various projects that will allow him to reach many more people. Life is an amazing gift given to humankind and it is exciting to know that it only gets better.
G. Wayne is available for book signing events, speaking engagements and public appearances.
